Hello everyone! After a deserved break post Tomb Raider promotion tour, Alicia has tonight stepped out to attend the 2018 MET Costume Institute Gala. This year’s theme is ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination’, and Alicia is of course once again representing Louis Vuitton! I have began adding photos to our gallery, but make sure to keep checking back for new additions.

Hello everyone! Alicia’s new film “Submergence” (with James McAvoy) is now finally available on Digital HD from Amazon Video and iTunes, with the DVD and Blu-ray release date being set for May 15, 2018. I’ve picked up my own digital copy, and made blu-ray screen captures for our gallery! You can find the previews and links below. Make sure to purchase your very own copy of the film, as it’s a beautiful one which I very much enjoyed. As always, Alicia’s performance is impeccable! It also features several really stunning close ups, so I think you’ll love the screen captures…

Film plot: In a room with no windows on the eastern coast of Africa, a Scotsman, James More, is held captive by jihadist fighters. Thousands of miles away in the Greenland Sea, Danielle Flinders prepares to dive in a submersible to the ocean floor. In their confines they are drawn back to the Christmas of the previous year, where a chance encounter on a beach in France led to an intense and enduring romance.

Hello friends! I promised you all a treat over at our twitter account (follow us if you aren’t following already!) to make up for the lack of updates in the recent couple of weeks, so last night I added almost 400 new event photos of Alicia to our appearances section. These are all in stunning high quality, and they include several rare photos which you won’t find just anywhere else on the web. Most were additions to albums we already had before (which you can find in the first batch of links below), but there are also new photos from old events Alicia attended back in 2013 and 2014 which we didn’t already have (second batch of links). There are so many gorgeous new additions, I’ll simply let the photos speak for themselves. Happy browsing…

If it continues to be slow with Alicia news and photos in the upcoming weeks, I’ll continue working on our gallery by adding event additions from 2015-2018, as well as completing the Television Series section!

Hello Alicia fans! I unfortunately had to miss out on the last two weeks of Tomb Raider promotion, due to a lot going on in my offline life. During these days, Alicia was a guest at several talk shows (which we alerted you about in the days leading up to them!). Instead of making a post for each now, I’m just gonna make a master-post with all the video clips and screen captures! Some of these already got their own posts with production stills, but I have now finished adding screen captures from all the major talk shows I could find from the film promotion tour. These includes Jimmy Fallon, James Corden and Noite Com Danilo Gentili, and I have also finally added screen captures from her February appearances on Skavlan and The Graham Norton Show! A total of 2000+ HD screen captures have been added, and you can find links to each below. I really love watching Alicia on talk shows, as she’s always so laid back and fun – if you missed any of these while they aired, you should definitely check them out below the cut! I especially loved her Jimmy Fallon appearance, where she once again played a hilarious Swedish game with Jimmy. Have fun watching 😉

Hello Alicia fans! On March 14, Alicia surprised fans at a special fan screening of “Tomb Raider” in New York City! Judging by these photos, it was very appreciated by the fans who showed up (several in great Lara costumes). Our gallery has been updated with high quality photos! I’m sorry these took so long, but they weren’t very easy to get a hold of in high quality. Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow, as I’ll be catching up on screen captures, videos and magazine scans. I have also made a lot of gallery updates today, so make sure to check the last uploads for all the pretty new photos.

Marie Claire US — Alicia Vikander likes making plans. When she was 12 years old, she looked at the year 2018 on a calendar and thought about what her life would be like then. “I realized I’d be 30, and in my head, 30 was the year you became an adult, so I remember thinking, Hopefully I’m going to have something good by then, but I’m also going to be old.

Vikander laughs—a lovely husky sound that rings out across the garden of L.A.’s Chateau Marmont, where she sits without a bit of makeup on, relaxed and glowing in cropped Paige jeans and a long-sleeve navy t-shirt. She’s just back from skiing in the French Alps over New Year’s (“It was amazing!”). Her dark wavy hair is air-dried, her tobacco-brown eyes warm, a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle bag tossed casually to one side. It’s the day after the Golden Globes, where Vikander presented the award for Best Motion Picture Comedy to Greta Gerwig for Lady Bird, and the hotel is bustling with postmortem cheer. A sleepy-eyed Dakota Johnson comes up, murmurs,“Morning…” and envelops Vikander in a bearhug. Once she’s gone, Vikander smiles wryly and continues, “The nice thing is, life has only gone better than I’d imagined.

It’s interesting that a character that has been seen as very sexualized back in the ’90s is very different now,” says Vikander. “If you go out in the street and ask men and women, young and old, what they find attractive, it’s different. You want her to be attractive and sexy, but, nowadays, you want this to be a girl that fights. Someone who’s vulnerable, but funny. Someone who’s OK with people seeing her bad sides.

In some ways, Vikander’s Lara Croft seems tailor-made for the #MeToo movement. She’s all about strength and grit, taking on challenges. Survival. There is no love story in the film, no steamy shower scenes or sultry pursing of lips before throwing punches. Instead, we see her bruised and bloodied but never down for the count. “She always stands up,” says Vikander. “When things are found to be quite shit, she always sees the bright side. She just keeps on going.
